In a bid to improve food security and promote Hungarian technologies in Kenya, the Hungarian government through its research organization NAIK has signed a contract with a local Kenyan company HUNAgro Consult Limited. HUNAgro Consult Limited will set up demonstration farms for Hungarian agricultural technologies in two counties – in Mwea, Kirinyaga County and Timau, Meru County.

These farms will not only serve as sites for showcasing Hungarian technologies but will also double up as farmer training sites.
